Tell us the year, make and model, the address the car is sitting at, and what it's doing. If you don't know what it's doing, describe the noise.

We quote it
You get a call-out fee and a realistic parts-and-labor range before anyone drives anywhere. No surprises bolted on afterward.

We come to you
The truck arrives with tools, jacks and a scan tool. Parts get picked up on the way if we don't already carry them.

You drive it
We don't hand back keys until the car starts, stops and idles the way it should. Old parts stay with you if you want to see them.

American Vet Mobile Mechanic started the way most good shops do — with a truck, a toolbox and a phone that wouldn't stop ringing. After years of turning wrenches in bays around southwest Houston, the move to mobile was simple: the cars that need help are usually sitting somewhere they can't be driven from, and towing them across town costs more than the repair.
So we brought the bay to the driveway. Same tools, same scan equipment, same parts sourcing — minus the waiting room, the service-writer script and the line item for "shop supplies." You get told what's wrong, what it costs, and what can honestly wait until next month.
We work on domestic and import cars, SUVs, half-ton trucks and small commercial fleets. If it's a job that genuinely needs a lift and a full shop — a transmission rebuild, an alignment, a frame pull — we'll say so up front and point you to somebody who does it well, rather than take your money and improvise.
